AspDotNetStorefront, the world’s most popular and powerful .NET e-commerce framework, announces four new products at their annual e-commerce conference in Las Vegas on March 8th to the 10th.
These announcements continue the user-focused improvements AspDotNetStorefront’s new owners, Vortx Inc. of Ashland, OR, have implemented since their purchase of the software in mid-2010.
The first of the four products is an upgrade to the ML8 platform.
• Improved Integration with PayPal, Google Checkout, FedEx
• Enhanced Shipping Controls
• Improved Multi-Language Interfaces (and now with language packs)
• Full Text Search
• Sort on Search Results
• Filtered Mail Manager
• Full 64-bit server support on demand
Plus, AspDotNetStorefront is transforming the ML platform into the all powerful, MultiStore platform. MultiStore lets retailers deploy and manage multiple stores, each with a unique design, URL from a single admin console. The catalog of products can be mapped to any or all of the stores. A MultiStore license is available at an entry-level price and additional stores can be added at any time by purchasing MoreStore bundles, potentially one store at a time.
For merchants with established stores, AspDotNetStorefront announces the Mini-Cart + One Page Checkout bundle and nearly a dozen new XML-based Page Layouts.
Available together for the first time the Mini-Cart + One Page Checkout bundle offers a checkout process designed to decrease a site’s abandoned cart rate and streamline the checkout.
New Page Layouts provide an easy way to customize a site without the custom development price. Page Layouts add unique looks and functionality like social media integration and improved product sorting. Plus, the improved XML and CSS behind the new Page Layouts make them a better launching off point for custom development than out of the box XML packages.
